Over 55(London) Inc.– a registered charity with a 26 years history in London needs you! The mandate of our organization is to help older adults improve their economic security, sense of community and quality of life by connecting them to income earning opportunities and other services that foster independence. Over 55 (London) Inc. is looking for strategic action-orientated thinkers to serve on the Board of Directors.We value having a diversity of board members in areas such as ethnicity, race, culture, gender, age, and areas of expertise and experience to ensure the best possible decision-making environment. We are looking for dynamic individuals with experience or skills in the following areas:
- community services
- health care
- retired senior
- law
- active community member
- construction/builder
- human resources
Board positions would commence in March 2012. New board members must be willing to attend a monthly board meeting (second Tuesday evening of each month) and to participate on one committee.
